What is Advertising Humanity?
This piece was prominently displayed on public screens across America, including New York’s Times Square, creating a large-scale, site-specific experience that confronted viewers in one of the world’s most iconic commercial spaces!
Inspiration: Advertising Humanity is inspired by a deep love for early Japanese TV commercials and presents a fictional future where AI governs society, using my own face to evoke an uncanny, unnatural gaze. It contrasts the immense technological progress of AI with the irreplaceable essence of our humanity.

Collaboration with The Second-Guess
The Second Guess: Body Anxiety in the Age of AI** at HEK explored how AI reshapes our perception of the body and identity. As AI-generated imagery blurs reality, new anxieties emerged around beauty standards, gender identity, and bodily autonomy. The exhibition featured international artists examining surveillance, algorithmic bias, and deepfake ethics through immersive installations and generative art.
Following **Shaping the Invisible**, which revealed hidden digital structures, **The Second Guess** shifted focus to the body as AI’s transformative site. It questioned AI’s dual role as both a tool for empowerment and control, urging us to reconsider who defines the "ideal" body in the algorithmic age. As part of this exhibition, works presented will be released in collaboration with HEK.
